Stephanie T. Anderson is matrimonial lawyer with a practice that has concentrated on high conflict complex custody litigation. Stephanie understands the emotional and financial toll litigation takes on a family. While she works hard to settle cases, as that gives clients the strongest voice in the outcome of their case, she is also an experienced litigator who is not afraid to take a case to court to protect a client’s rights. Stephanie is also experienced in divorce, equitable distribution, child support and child custody at both the trial court and appellate court level. Along with her practice in Allegheny County, Stephanie regularly practices in Washington, Butler, Lawrence and Westmoreland Counties. Stephanie has been named a Super Lawyer from 2014 to present and a Top Lawyer through Philadelphia Magazine from 2015 to present.

Stephanie obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She is an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association, where she previously served as an appointed member of the council for the Family Law Section. Stephanie is also a Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation which recognizes and honors attorneys who have shown a commitment to excellence in charitable, community, professional and/or public service areas. Stephanie has previously been a member of the Matrimonial Inns of Court, an organization designed to promote professionalism, ethics, camaraderie and education between the bench and bar.

Stephanie is trained in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, collaborative law and parent coordination.

Stephanie volunteers for Neighborhood Legal Services in the Protection from Abuse Program and devotes time to a variety of charitable endeavors.
